Made and ment to be published in the summer of '43. In this issue the first study of the iconic "Chute de Icare" was published. Only two years later a slightly different version showed up in the completely lithographed edition of Jazz Published by Mourlot. This lithograph of the earlier version is in almost perfect condition, there is one tiny chip on the edge of the right hand side missing. The jackt; specialy designd by Matisse for this issue is quite fine on the front and the back side, wear on the corners and on the spine. [006430]
